Like many ventures, Stono Outdoor Living Co. began with the personal experience and frustrations of CEO Xavier Meier. It started when Xavier decided to build his own outdoor kitchen at his home in Charleston, SC. His quest? Find a good-looking, do it yourself solution that could withstand the salty coastal air and didn’t break the bank.
“After doing my research locally, I just couldn’t find anything that didn’t require me to go through dealers, contractors or designers. At the end of the day, my options were limited to piecing something together from my local hardware store or hiring a contractor.,” said Xavier.
